4 PINES x SEAFOREST

(THE BRIEF)    4 Pines and Sea Forest combined forces to develop a refreshing beer that brings awareness to Sea Forest’s pioneering work and their groundbreaking SeaFeed supplement that is fed to cows to reduce methane production.

The challenge - seaweed beer sounds gross. How could we make it seem appealing and get people to try it?

As part of the creative team at Bounce, we developed a short animation that told the story of a barrel of beer that travels to the depths of the ocean to find it’s new home amongst the seaweed. The aim of this approach was to spark curiosity and drive clicks to the website to find out why.

My role was to illustrate assets to be in line with the existing 4 Pines brand/ packaging design, then bring them to life through animation.
I was also the photographer for the project, and used the images for mixed-media design content.
